What do we do?
Reality functions by relating to these young people and by supporting and helping the development of life-skills. The method we primarily use for this is Adventure Breaks, which can be week long residential breaks, or shorter day camps.
Who works with us?
The work is essentially done through our volunteers who accompany the young people on all activities during their break. As a Christian organisation where all volunteers have a live church connection, we not only aim to address the physical, emotional and mental needs of the young people, but also their spiritual needs. During these adventure breaks, our group activities seek to be appropriate in developing all these areas.
Who supports us?
Our organisation is financed through grant giving charities, trusts, churches and independent support which allows us to provide services in four main areas: residential adventure break weeks, weekend and short adventure breaks, befriending and training.
